The Best Watersports In Ibiza

If you are looking to experience some great watersports in Ibiza during your vacation, then you are going to want to devote the next two minutes of your time to this article.

Starting from May and extending through the month of August, the warm water of the surrounding Mediterranean Sea makes the island perfectly suited for all sorts of different watersports because of the perfect air and water temperatures.

Activities including jet skiing, sailing, parasailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, and nearly every other watersport that you can imagine.

Since there are many apartments and hotels located on the beach-line, you can also stay at a location where the beach and watersports are only a short distance away. Windsurfing and kite surfing are quickly becoming the most popular watersports in Ibiza. In the high season, the most popular time for tourists to visit the island, there’s not much wind. However, the south winds pick up in the late summer.


Surfing isn’t among the most popular watersports in Ibiza. However, wind swells roll into the island during the winter, particularly from October to December.

Catamaran Sailing

Though experience is necessary, catamarans are available to rent in Ibiza. Las Salinas and Lpaya d’en Bossa beach both have locations where you can rent catamaran’s as well as other types of equipment.
